Rainy Days Continue…Hot Wednesday with Storms
If you didn’t get any rain today, chances are you’ll get some by the weekend! Rain chances are up to 70% tomorrow, 80% on Friday, and 60% throughout the weekend. These storms pop up in the late afternoon and go into the evening. With these storms, be careful for gusty winds, dangerous lightning, and flooding as most of the CSRA has a marginal flash flood threat and a few counties with slight threats for tomorrow. Despite possible damage, the rain will also bring lower temps. Tomorrow will be like today in the mid 90s, but will drop to the low 90s as we go into the weekend. Heat indices will drop to the high 90s, getting out of the triple digits! The lows will be in the low 70s through the weekend and into next week.
Nike Peach Jam: Looking at the Louisville basketball targets

Kemp appoints Social Circle mayor to Upper Oconee Regional Water Planning Council
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has appointed Social Circle Mayor David Keener to the Upper Oconee Regional Water Planning Council. Georgia Water Planning “manages water resources in a sustainable manner to support the state’s economy, to protect public health and natural systems, and to enhance the quality of life for all citizens.
