    Search warrant nets illegal drugs, guns at home of convicted felon

    WASHINGTON, N.C. (WNCT) — A convicted felon was arrested after drugs and guns were found at his home during a search warrant.

    Torrance Felicino Smith, 50, of Washington, was arrested on June 27 on multiple drug and weapons charges. This arrest stemmed from deputies executing a search warrant on Smith’s home. They found 111 grams of cocaine, 80 grams of marijuana and two guns.

    Smith was arrested and held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond under the following charges:

    • Trafficking in Cocaine by Possession
    • Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon
    • Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana
    • Two counts of Felony Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling to Keep Controlled
    • Two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
