OKLAHOMA CITY, (KOKH) — Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City Fire Protection department provided fire trucks for the Oklahoma-filmed "Twisters" blockbuster. "The 'Twisters' crew came to our campus and covered our logos with the logos used in the movie," said Joe Bennett, program director of the OSU-OKC Fire Protection department. "The instructors drove the rigs down to the shooting locations and remained on set for the entirety of shooting, moving the rigs to whatever locations the director needed."
OHP identifies 25-year-old woman killed in multi-vehicle weekend crash near Guthrie
LOGAN COUNTY, Okla. — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol released information about the person who died in a multi-vehicle crash over the weekend outside of Guthrie. An Oklahoma Highway Patrol collision report states that three vehicles were involved in a crash around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday on Portland Avenue near Triplett Road in Logan County. A woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and four others were taken to area hospitals.
