The Washington State Health Care Authority reports it is launching a new state program, ScalaNW, to expand access to medications for opioid addiction. Starting on Monday, ScalaNW will offer every emergency room clinician with round the clock clinical consultation and educational materials to treat opioid addiction, according to the HCA.
