Original Wonder Woman actress Lynda Carter advised Vice President Kamala Harris to dismiss any attacks from her opponent, suggesting "she should handle it by dancing."

Carter expressed her enthusiasm for Harris's presidential campaign, saying she was "thrilled" to have "wonderful human beings" in Harris and Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) as the Democratic Party's 2024 ticket. When asked about how Harris could respond to criticism from former President Donald Trump , the Wonder Woman actress argued Harris ought to laugh it off.

"So, hey, finally, we can dance without fear. We can laugh without fear," Carter said on CNN. "And too bad if some old curmudgeon doesn't like it, too bad. I'm laughing and I'm dancing all the way to the voting booth."

Carter was also asked how much of an impact abortion access will play in the 2024 election , as this year's presidential election will be the first since Roe v. Wade was overturned in 2022. In response, she said the Democratic Party could win in a landslide victory "if that is the only issue."

The actress gave her endorsement to Harris on July 21, the same day President Joe Biden bowed out of his reelection bid. Biden endorsed his vice president to fill his spot in the 2024 election.

Several prominent Republicans have suggested that Trump stick to being critical of Harris's policies and leadership instead of doling out personal attacks against her. Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, for example, has advised Trump to "quit whining" about Harris because simple labels against her will not sway voters.

And Gov. Chris Sununu (R-NH) stated the 2024 election "should be an easy race" for Trump to win if he sticks to policy criticism.
