    Here’s who is speaking on the third day of the DNC

    On Wednesday evening, Democratic leaders from across the country will speak at the Democratic National Convention before Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) delivers the keynote address a day before Vice President Kamala Harris accepts her party's nomination.

    Here's a rundown of who will speak on the third night of the high-profile Democratic event in Chicago:

    Senate Democrats

    Multiple Democrats from Congress's upper chamber are set to take the stage Wednesday evening and speak before Harris's running mate gives his prime-time address.

    Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) House Democrats House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) Democratic governors Gov. Wes Moore (D-MD) Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-PA)

    Shapiro was one of the top contenders to become Harris's running mate before she tapped Walz as her No. 2.

    Other prominent Democrats Former President Bill Clinton Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg Republican figures Former Mike Pence adviser Olivia Troye Former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan

    Troye and Duncan join a number of Republicans addressing the DNC this week in making the case for a Harris presidency.

    Wednesday's programming will also feature a celebrity host: The Office star Mindy Kaling . The theme for Day 3 of the convention is set to be "A Fight for our Freedoms."
