    Abolish the FBI

A 14-year-old gunman killed four people and wounded nine others at Apalachee High School outside of Atlanta, Georgia, on Wednesday.

As partisan Democrats predictably called for gun control , an all-too-familiar statement was issued by the FBI’s Atlanta office: “The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office located a possible subject, a 13-year-old male, and interviewed him and his father. The father stated he had hunting guns in the house, but the subject did not have unsupervised access to them. The subject denied making the threats online. Jackson County alerted local schools for continued monitoring of the subject. At that time, there was no probable cause for arrest or to take any additional law enforcement action on the local, state, or federal levels.”

Like many perpetrators of school shootings, the Apalachee High School shooter was known to the FBI. After the 2018 deadly shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida, the FBI issued a statement admitting that it did not follow protocol after a tip came in to its Miami office a month prior to the tragedy: “The caller provided information about Cruz's gun ownership, desire to kill people, erratic behavior, and disturbing social media posts, as well as the potential of him conducting a school shooting.”

Seven years after the deadliest mass shooting in American history at a country music festival in Las Vegas, the FBI has yet to determine the shooter’s motive.

On Wednesday, the FBI issued a statement from Trump-appointed Director Christopher Wray saying simply “knock it off” about foreign governments interfering in American elections. Unsurprising considering how ineffectual the bureau has been in preventing domestic tragedies.

The behavior of the FBI often veers from ineptitude into blatant nefariousness, specifically in its targeting of American citizens. The FBI was involved in the 1993 Waco siege that killed 76 people, including 26 children, and the bureau was forced to pay $3.3 million in settlements after FBI gunmen killed Randy Weaver’s wife and child in the Ruby Ridge siege.

President Joe Biden’s Justice Department created a pro-abortion task force in 2022 to intimidate and persecute pro-lifers. Just months later, FBI agents raided the home of a pro-life activist, arresting him. The FBI used the completely fabricated Steele dossier , a piece of political propaganda derived from the 2016 Clinton campaign to spy on former President Donald Trump, while then-FBI Director James Comey refused to file charges in the face of clear illegality surrounding then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s storing of thousands of classified emails on her private server.

The FBI surveilled and kept illegal files on celebrities such as Mickey Mantle, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, John Denver, Jane Fonda, Charlie Chaplin, and Bob Dylan, among others, and attempted to blackmail civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. into committing suicide by threatening to expose his personal improprieties.

Whatever legitimate purposes the FBI still serves would be better handled by state and local authorities, and its main purpose, to serve as the American regime’s secret police, has no place in a free society. Anyone claiming the politicization of the FBI will decrease is delusional, or at least entirely ignorant of history. Any private entity with the FBI’s history of lying, spying, and slaughtering innocent civilians would be destroyed and its agents prosecuted, for good reason.

It is high time we end the bureau’s shameful stain on the rule of law in our country and abolish the FBI.
