White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will hold a press briefing Thursday afternoon.

Jean-Pierre will take questions from reporters at 2:30 p.m. ET for the first White House press briefing since Vice President Kamala Harris had her first presidential debate against former President Donald Trump.

The prime-time Sept. 10 ABC News debate was Harris’s first encounter with Trump. She was widely portrayed as the victor in their fierce stand-off, though Trump touted a series of polls showing he won the debate.

The former president has since called for the outlet's broadcasting license to be rescinded over claims that the network’s moderators showed bias toward his political opponent. The Federal Communications Commission rejected his request, telling the Washington Post that “the FCC does not revoke licenses for broadcast stations simply because a political candidate disagrees with or dislikes content or coverage.”
