Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon believes Vice President Kamala Harris 's campaign has "peaked," while former President Donald Trump has the momentum heading into the presidential election.

Bannon has been in prison since July 1, but he penned an opinion piece from a federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut , for the National Pulse , which was published Thursday. The former Trump adviser and War Room po dcast host is currently serving a four-month sentence for contempt of Congress charges.

"Harris has peaked. The momentum is now on our side, and this is the time to capitalize on it," Bannon wrote. "If the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement focuses all of its efforts on a massive get-out-the-vote and ballot-chasing effort in the crucial days and weeks until November 5th, we will win and win big."

He specifically said that Harris's "word salad rhetoric" has provided "no real solutions" on key campaign issues, pointing to polling data as evidence that voters see it as hollow.

Bannon also argued that the election will be decided by which base of voters decide to go to the polls rather than a block of "undecided voters," suggesting that adamant Trump supporters will get him over the line.

"President Trump risks his life daily to save our country. Every day, he faces tremendous opposition and challenges, but he continues to fight for the American people," Bannon wrote.

"Through your work, show him that you have his back. Let’s demonstrate our commitment to this cause by putting everything we have into these final weeks," he added. "Remember: Victory is at hand."

Bannon is scheduled to be released from prison on Oct. 29, a week before Election Day.

The firebrand podcaster was found guilty of contempt of Congress after defying a subpoena from the now-defunct House Jan. 6 committee. Another former Trump adviser, Peter Navarro, also served prison time for his contempt of Congress conviction on similar grounds.
