Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) continued to aid Floridians as Hurricane Milton approaches the state.

More than 200 people are dead, and more than 2,000 are reported missing since Hurricane Helene touched ground in Florida last week and spread to Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Now Milton is expected to ravage Florida a second time.

Mills assured his followers on X that he was "on the move" to help as it was too late for those in the path of the hurricane to evacuate. His office is also soliciting phone calls to direct people where to shelter in place.

"We’ve got about 25 different generators, 3000 to 5500 Watt each with another 49,000 Watt generator coming in. We've got 50 Starlink systems as well as perishables, nonperishables, diapers, wipes and water ," Mills said. "So we’ll be picking up those other generators tomorrow. The 15 of those will be distributed in Seminole County to help with the shelters or whatever the emergency management center is looking for."

The congressman is fresh from his efforts following Hurricane Helene. Mills delivered 18,000 pounds of relief material and set up at least 20 Starlink systems for those affected.

Last year, Mills executed a rescue mission in Israel that has returned hundreds of Americans home following the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas. He retrieved 77 American citizens himself, among them Rep. Bill Huizenga's (D-MI) son.

Mills was also involved in helping Americans evacuate Afghanistan three years ago when U.S. troops began their withdrawal.
