WATCH LIVE: Biden speaks about Hurricane Milton after canceling foreign trips

President Joe Biden is delivering remarks regarding Hurricane Milton as Florida braces for the storm Wednesday evening.

Biden is expected to begin his remarks from the White House at 5:30 p.m.

The president’s address comes after he announced Tuesday that he would postpone official trips to Germany and Angola to monitor the hurricane.

The Category 4 storm is expected to make landfall in Florida late Wednesday. It likely will initially strike the Tampa Bay area, a major metropolitan hub, the hardest.
