WASHINGTONVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) — The Washingtonville Veterans of Foreign Wars hosted the third annual Marty Orr Memorial Classic Car Show on Saturday.

The show featured a variety of classic cars and a few tractors with music, food, drinks and a 50/50 raffle.

All money raised at the event will go to the Hospice of the Valley and Alzheimer’s Care.

“The reason we’re doing this is because a lot of our members are older, and Alzheimer’s [disease] takes its toll as well as hospice. So, both things are very very needed. [We] need a facility so we can send money to help them out, and we feel like we’re helping our veterans out when we do that. This is what it’s all about. It’s the veterans giving back to the community,” said Carl Slagle with VFW Post 5532.

The event ended at 4 p.m.
