Fatal collision on Briarwood Lane in Watauga County – Saturday July 6, 2024
Boone – On Saturday, July 6, at approximately 11:00 p.m., the NC State Highway Patrol responded to and investigated a fatal collision in Watauga County on Briarwood Lane near Big Hill Road. A Suzuki four-wheeler was traveling west on Briarwood Lane and struck a deer in the roadway. This collision caused the driver to lose control and overturn.
Man Killed In Watauga County Crash
A Watauga County man was killed in a crash earlier this week. The deceased is 35-year-old William Jesse Glenn of Sugar Grove. On Wednesday (July 3), at approximately 8:00 p.m., the North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to a fatal collision in Watauga County on Reese Road near Wilburn Rominger Road. A 2001 Dodge Ram traveling south on Reese Road, drove off the right side of the road and overturned.
Sugar Grove Man Fatal Victim in Watauga County Rollover Accident
Tragedy struck Watauga County on the eve of July 3rd as a 35-year-old Sugar Grove man was killed in a single-vehicle accident. The crash, involving a rollover of a 2001 Dodge Ram, occurred on Reese Road near Wilburn Rominger Road, as reported by QCNews.com. William Jesse Glenn was driving southbound when his truck veered off the right side of the road and overturned.
