Clark DPW Providing Several Services Next Week
CLARK, NJ — The Clark Department of Public Works (DPW) will provide a number of services for residents next week. These include: Tuesday, July 9: Grass Pickup (All grass must be in biodegradable bags for it to be collected. No plastic bags and no clippings left at the curb without a brown bag.) Wednesday, July 10: Zone 2 Recycling (Please bring recycling curbside the evening before pickup. No Styrofoam, food-soiled pizza boxes, or plastic bags of any type will be collected. If you have additional items or overflow, please place in a pail beside the recycling bin.) St. Paul's Church's Annual Fourth of July Duck Race is Just Duckie
MILLTOWN, NJ - Soon after the 2024 Milltown Fourth of July Parade concluded, it was time for the annual Rubber Duck Race at the Main Street Bridge. Sponsored by St. Paul's Church, more than 900 rubber duckies were dropped into the water next to the Main Street Bridge. A large crowd gathered on both sides of the water and along the old railroad trestle to see if their duckies would be one of the first 10 to reach the finish line. The finish line is underneath the railroad trestle. Each winning duckie earns its sponsor a $100 gift card.
