MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WATE) — Gibbs softball had no problems taking home its 11th title in program history and first since 2017. The Eagles soared to a 6-1 win over Carter.

Gibbs jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the third inning. Lacey Keck doubled in the first run of the game. Addison Merritt was the next batter, and she cracked a double to center field, which plated Madilynn Rutherford.
