    Three Knoxville children found safe after Endangered Child Alert

    KNOXVILLE, Tenn. ( WATE ) — Three children who were believed to be with their non-custodial father have been found safe, according to the Knoxville Police Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

    Early Friday morning, the TBI issued an Endangered Child Alert for the three children between the ages of 12 years old and 5 years old. Knoxville Police shared around 10:30 p.m. that the children had been found safe.

    The children had been missing since July 16. They were believed to be with their non-custodial father, 43-year-old Aki Warren .

    “Efforts to contact Warren have been unsuccessful,” the TBI said.

    Previously, anyone with information was asked to call the Knoxville Police Department at 865-215-7165 or TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
