KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The first week of the high school football season wrapped up with Bearden snagging a 31-24 win in triple overtime

Bearden opened up the scoring thanks to a scoop and score. West quarterback Parker Dubon handed it off to Tavion Ray but the ball popped out and Ethan Couvertiere picked it up and ran it into the endzone to give the Bulldogs an early 7-0 lead.
