    KCSO: Threat at South Doyle High School under investigation

    KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — South Doyle Hight School was placed on lockdown Tuesday morning as Knox County Sheriff’s Office detectives investigated a threat at the school, according to Knoxville Police and Knox County Schools.

    Around noon, KCSO reported that detectives were on the scene in response to a threat at the school. At 12:54 p.m., the sheriff’s office reported that the school building had been cleared, and the source of the threat is being investigated.

    Knox County Schools also confirmed to 6 News that South Doyle High School had been placed on lockdown as a precaution. Around 1 p.m., the school system shared that the lockdown had been lifted.
