    Three dead in Madisonville house fire

    MADISONVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Three people have died after a house fire broke out early Tuesday morning in Madisonville.

    The Madisonville Police Department shared that the fire broke out in the 500 block of Old Cemetery Road around 5 a.m. Police said the victims were two adults and a child.

    Three other people were able to escape the blaze, police said.

    The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is assisting Madisonville Police with the probe into the cause of the fire.
