When is Tennessee’s voter registration deadline for November election?

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Tennesseans who want to vote in the November 5 presidential election have until October 7 to register.

Any U.S. citizen with a driver’s license or a photo ID issued by the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security can register online from any computer or mobile device at GoVoteTN.com .

Voters can also download a paper voter registration application . Once completed, paper voter registration applications must be submitted or postmarked to your local county election commission office by October 7.

Early voting begins on October 16 and runs through October 31. Absentee ballots can be requested between August 7 and October 29.
