    Man dies after farming accident in Loudon County

    LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — A man died following a farming accident on Thursday, the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office released.

    A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office explained that the accident happened along Cardwell Chapel Road around 12:30 p.m.

    According to LCSO, the man was bush-hogging a field when he fell off the tractor, possibly because of a medical issue, and was run over. The man died from his injuries.

    The man’s name has not been released. He was identified by the sheriff’s office as “an elderly man, [approximately] 76 years old.”

    Same thing happened to my ex father in law. Metal property marker flew up by the bush hog, stabbed him in his carotid artery. Knocked him off the tractor, only to run over his legs. He bled out on the table.
