Monday evening, the fire protection district said the Flint Gap Fire near Hannah Mountain was 19-acres in size and contained, with crews monitoring the fire. It is unclear what caused the fire to become uncontained once again.

The fire protection district added that smoke will continue to be seen from Walland, Happy Valley, and the Top of the World area. No structures are currently threatened.
