    Harrogate woman charged with murder after attack victim dies

    TAZEWELL, Tenn. (WATE) — The charge against a Claiborne County woman who was arrested after being placed on the TBI Most Wanted List has been upgraded.

    Johnna Miracle, 48, of Harrogate, now faces one count of first-degree murder after the victim in an Aug. 28 assault at a Harrogate home died. Miracle was initially charged with attempted murder.

    On Aug. 30, she was added to the TBI Most Wanted List with a $2,500 reward offered for information leading to her arrest. She was apprehended on Sept. 1 in Claiborne County.

    In an affidavit, investigators noted that the victim was found inside the home, adding that witnesses reported the woman had been shot and stabbed. The victim, identified as Tracy Wilder was transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. She died on Sept. 3 from her injuries sustained in the attack.

    She remains in custody at the Claiborne County Jail. Her bond is now set at $1 million.
