KNOXVILLE, Tenn. ( WATE ) — The Knoxville Police Department is searching for the man who broke a door at the front entrance of Austin-East Magnet High School overnight Wednesday.

According to KPD, security footage showed that at around midnight, an unidentified white male walked up to the front door and struck it with what appeared to be a child’s scooter. The man did not enter the school and walked away from the scene. KPD added that he was walking east on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
