    14-year-old arrested after fire set in trash can at South-Doyle High School

    KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after they say a trash can at South-Doyle High School was intentionally set on fire. A student has been arrested.

    KCSO shared that both the Fire and Explosive investigation unit and juvenile detectives were at the school to determine what happened on September 12.

    A sheriff’s office spokesperson shared that a 14-year-old male student at the school was arrested on charges of attempted aggravated arson, setting fire to personal property, and vandalism.
