What happens if I’m in line but haven’t voted by the time polls close?

    Polling locations are campaign-free zones

Tennessee law prohibits anyone from wearing campaign-related clothing or paraphernalia to vote. The law requires within 100 feet of the polling location to be campaign-free zones. The Campbell County Election Commission shared the following advice to voters:

“If you walk into the polling place with a campaign hat on, you will be allowed to vote only if you take off the hat and do not show it to anyone. If you have a campaign shirt on you will be asked to immediately leave the polling place to go home and change. However, if you can cover up the shirt with a jacket so no one else can see it, then you will be allowed to vote.”

How to report fraud and polling issues

If anyone suspects voter fraud, they’re asked to text ‘TN’ to 45995 to make a report.

Tennesseans can call a toll-free number with any questions about Election Day and to report any issues at the polls. That number is 1-877-850-4959 .
