    All proceeds of Tennessee ‘Mountain Strong’ apparel to benefit Hurricane Helene relief

    KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — University of Tennessee Athletics have launched a line of apparel to raise money for those impacted by Hurricane Helene.

    Tennessee announced last week that the football team would sport “Mountain Strong” decals on their helmets to honor victims of the deadly hurricane. Fans can now purchase t-shirts, hats, and stickers featuring the same “Mountain Strong” design.

    Items are available at the Vol Shop and Alumni Hall . The proceeds from all of the merchandise sales will go to charity.

    The university will organize, accept, and mobilize donations in the coming weeks. More information regarding dates and times will be provided soon, according to a university release.

    “Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted during this difficult time,” said Vice Chancellor/Director of Athletics Danny White. “We sincerely hope these initiatives will bring much-needed support and awareness to the affected communities.”
