KNOXVILLE, Tenn. ( WATE ) — Crews worked a house fire overnight Thursday on Halsdale Road in the Halls community, according to Rural Metro Fire, Knox County.

Rural Metro shared in a news release later Thursday morning that all of the home’s occupants made it out safely, and the fire was initially found in a bedroom.

“As temperatures turn cooler into the evening, please remember to unplug all portable heaters at night and blow out all candles,” Bagwell said.

Temperatures in the Knoxville area dropped down into the 30s overnight, with some neighboring counties under a frost advisory. See the latest 6 Storm Team forecast here .
