    Jimmy John’s introducing limited-time ‘Picklewich’

    ( WJW ) – Attention pickle lovers! Jimmy John’s is introducing a limited-time sandwich just for you.

    The new menu item, called the Picklewich, replaces the bread with a massive kosher dill pickle, Inspire Brands announced in a Thursday press release.

    Jimmy John’s shared photos of the new sandwich on Facebook , stating that it will be available at participating locations across the country from Monday, Oct. 28 through National Pickle Day on Nov. 14.

    There are two versions of the sandwich: the Vito Picklewich and the Turkey Picklewich.

    The Vito Picklewich, according to the release , includes, “salami, capocollo & provolone cheese, fresh-sliced lettuce, tomato, onion, oil & vinegar, and oregano-basil with a crispy, pickley crunch.”

    The Turkey Picklewich includes, “premium turkey and provolone between two halves of a crisp Jimmy Pickle,” the release said.

    The Illinois-based chain is also bringing back its Pickle Jimmy Chips for those looking for more pickle-flavored goodness.
