WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — A man was arrested in Waterbury on Friday for asking a woman for sex who thought she’d been hired for a cleaning job, according to police.

Waterbury 18-year-olds charged for stealing 21 guns from Salem store

A woman, who is a cleaner, was waiting outside a store for work when Peter Israel, 43, picked her up. Shortly after, she texted her husband that the person who picked her up was driving very fast, telling her that he would pay her for sex and making her feel uncomfortable.

The woman’s phone was pinged and her husband was updating police on her whereabouts. Eventually, Israel drove her back to Waterbury, where police stopped his vehicle and arrested him.
