Multiple hole-in-ones at Tahoe Donner Golf Course
TRUCKEE, Calif. – On July 12, San Fransisco resident Toby Chan scored his second ever hole-in-one. Chan hit the 145 yard hole-in-one on Hole 12 with his 8 Iron. He lost sight of the ball and when he went to the green, he couldn’t see it anywhere. It wasn’t until he went to remove the flagstick that he realized he had scored the hole-in-one.
Garbage collection change coming next week
Beginning next week, some people in Folsom will experience a change in when their garbage is collected. Beginning the week of July 22nd, the City of Folsom Waste and Recycling Division is beginning new collection routes and times. The plan is to be more efficient in the way the collection process is done.

Valley Springs Woman Arrested For Knife Attack
Valley Springs, CA – An argument between two roommates in the Valley Springs area of Calaveras County erupted into a knife attack, resulting in one of them being arrested. Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 2000 block of Hartvickson Lane near Vista del Lago Drive and south of Highway 26 in Valley Springs after a report of a disturbance early Sunday (7/14) morning. The suspect had already fled the scene when deputies arrived. The victim told them that 36-year-old Felicia Martinez pulled a knife during the argument and stabbed them in one of the victim’s extremities.
