Deputies in Ohio say a woman faked being asleep when they were trying to serve a warrant.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says they approached and knocked at a door on Waterford Township to serve a warrant when they saw a male and female running towards the back of the residence.

Officials say they observed Michael Klintworth looking out from a doorway.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says other officers assisted with a loud speaker advising Klintworth to surrender.

Deputies say they entered the front door, which was unlocked, and were able to hear Linda Miller proclaim “they are coming in.”

Deputies say they located Miller, pretending to be asleep, and Klintworth was found hiding under a bed.

Klintworth and Miller were the only people in the home and were the two seen running from the room, according to deputies.

Linda Sue Miller, age 48, Waterford, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with obstructing official business, and Michael Thomas Klintworth, age 36, Waterford, OH, was arrested on the warrant for domestic violence.
