Parts of northern Illinois shook Monday as a 3.4 magnitude earthquake struck in the early morning hours. The earthquake was centered northwest of the DeKalb County village of Somonauk. Illinois man takes plea deal in fatal 2023 shooting
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A 30-year-old Illinois man accepted a plea agreement Tuesday in connection with the fatal 2023 shooting of a Fort Wayne man. Jesse Shears was one of four people charged with murder in connection with the death of 40-year-old Dennis Starr of Fort Wayne. Samuel Evans III, 51, 24-year-old Samuel Evans IV and 26-year-old Lexus Evans, a father and his two children, were also charged in the case.
