U.P. Firefighters Tournament flares-up in Iron River
IRON RIVER — The 129th annual U.P. Firefighters Tournament is taking place in Iron River this year July 26-28. The Iron County Fire Department will be hosting the event. Come watch as fire departments from across the U.P. and Northern Wisconsin compete against each other in various races, participate in multiple parades and celebrate each other’s service at the Fireman’s Ball.

Victory Cruise Line to visit Escanaba during inaugural 2025 season
ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – Cruise ships will once again dock in Escanaba next spring and summer. In 2025, Victory I and Victory II will be visiting Escanaba a total of 34 times as part of Victory Cruise Line’s inaugural season on the Great Lakes. For local residents, the ships may look familiar.
