Ten area athletes among the candidates for the weekly honor

It was really cold most of last week and wiped out a good portion of the area high school athletic schedule.

There was still enough stuff early in the week to come up with a list of candidates for the Public Opinon's Athlete of the Week Poll for April 15-21.

Now it's your turn. Vote. Voting runs through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday.

Congratulations goes out to Great Plains Lutheran track sprinter Sophie Kannas for winning the honor for April 8-14.
