Only four of the 24 scheduled state-qualifying games in AA, A and B were played on Tuesday

Twenty of the 24 SoDak 16 state-qualifying softball games scheduled for Tuesday were postponed because of rain on Tuesday.

In Class AA, it was No. 2 Harrisburg 16, No. 15 Pierre 1; No. 4 Sioux Falls Jefferson 11, No. 13 Yankton 0 and No. 6 Rapid City Stevens 14, No. 11 Sturgis 0. In Class B, No. 5 Gayville-Volin topped No. 12 Mount Vernon-Plankinton 11-1.

All 10 games involving area teams were postponed to Wednesday, some with rescheduled times.

Class AA

No. 9 Watertown (10-9) at No. 8 Brookings (10-7), 3 p.m.

No. 14 Aberdeen Central (4-14) at No. 3 Sioux Falls Washington (14-3), 3 p.m. at the Sanford Sports Complex (Sioux Falls).

Class A

No. 12 Sisseton (3-12) at No. 5 Tri-Valley (12-7), 2 p.m. at Augustana's Bowden Field in Sioux Falls

No. 11 Mobridge-Pollock (11-4) at No. 6 Beresford (14-9), 5 p.m.

No. 10 Elk Point-Jefferson (8-9) at No. 7 Sioux Valley (16-5), 4 p.m. in Volga.

Class B

No. 16 Elkton-Lake Benton (6-10) at No. 1 Bon Homme (19-3), 5 p.m. in Tyndall

No. 15 McCook Central-Montrose (6-8) at No. 2 Castlewood (14-4), 5:30 p.m.

No. 14 Arlington (8-10) at No. 3 Alcester-Hudson (17-6), 6 p.m. in Alcester

No. 10 Redfield (7-7) at No. 7 Deuel (13-5), 4 p.m. in Clear Lake

No. 9 Hanson (11-5) at No. 8 Florence-Henry (10-2), 4 p.m. in Florence
