Readers asked to decide what area volleyball team could win a state title in 2024

Football isn't the only South Dakota high school fall sport that's just around the corner. The 2024 volleyball season is rapidly approaching.

That's why we've decided to make the weekly poll question and asked readers to pick which area volleyball team could challenge for a state title this fall.

The list includes 10 teams who at least played in SoDak 16 state-qualifying games last fall. The 11th option is any other school.

Voting continues through Sunday at 11:59 a.m.

Last week's poll asked readers to decide "What area football team had the best chance to win a state title this fall?"

Class 11AAA Watertown and Class 9AA Hamlin topped the poll, with the Arrows holding a slight edge with the voting winding down late Sunday.
