NFL demands upgrades at Nissan Stadium amid $2.1 billion Titans project
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — While workers are busy on the Titans new $2.1 billion stadium, the NFL wants upgrades at the current Nissan Stadium before the season starts. The Titans CFO, Shannon Myers, says there's about $80,000 worth of investments into the current Nissan Stadium that need to be made before the first preseason game on August 10.

Lawyer in Clarksville censured for practicing law after license was suspended
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A local attorney has been publicly censured by the Tennessee Supreme Court for practicing law after her license was suspended. On Jan. 21, 2020, Colleen Ann Hyder’s license to practice law was suspended after failing to pay her 2019 professional privilege tax. On July 19, the court released a statement publicly censuring her for knowingly practicing law after her license had been suspended, according to a news release.

USWNT to face Iceland in first two post-Olympics matches

Kentucky's new truancy law is now in effect
OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEVV) — Truancy is a real problem throughout the state of Kentucky. Last year close to 30 % of students were absent for 10% or more of the school year. Jared Revlett, the Public Information Officer for Owensboro Public Schools, says, "Recently, really since 2020, we’ve seen a growing number of truancy cases in our district and really across the state as a whole.”
