Overland Park-based Black & Veatch has sold its public carrier wireless telecommunications infrastructure business for $150 million. A first court appearance is coming Monday for an Emporia woman accused of distributing methamphetamine, endangering a child and other charges. Anissa Gardner-Lagg, age 21, was arrested Thursday by Emporia Police. She was charged Friday with single counts of distributing a small amount of meth and possessing marijuana, meth and paraphernalia.
