Students head back to the classroom next week
KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – Students in the Monadnock Region head back to school on next week. According to SAU 29’s website, school resumes for all districts on Tuesday, August 27th. Preschool at Jonathan Daniels and in Marlborough will begin after Labor Day on September 3rd, along with Kindergarten in both Keene and Chesterfield. Marlow preschool and kindergarten begins September 9th.
UNH poll shows big lead in Republican gubernatorial race, tighter race on Democratic side
MANCHESTER, N.H. — A new University of New Hampshire Survey Center poll shows where likely voters stand on the race for governor. On the Republican side, 65 percent of likely GOP voters said they would cast their ballot for Kelly Ayotte, compared to 21 percent for Chuck Morse, while 13 percent said they are undecided. The poll of likely Republican primary voters had a margin of error of +/- 3.2%.
