LaGrange County Crash leaves 2 dead, 1 critically injured
LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WANE)— Two people were killed and another was critically injured in a crash on State Road 9 just south of LaGrange on Wednesday. According to the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened at 5:38 p.m. near State Road 9’s intersection with County Road 200 S. A press release from the department said that 77 year-old Phillip Shirmeyer of Wolcottville was driving an SUV southeast bound when he crossed the center line, striking a northbound pickup truck head on.
