BISMARCK, ND ( KXNET ) — Power appears out to several Montana-Dakota Utilities customers Tuesday morning.

In Bismarck, according to a map on the MDU website, the outage appears confined to homes and businesses in an area southeast of the I-94 and Highway 83 intersection.

PowerOutage.us , a service that tracks power outages across North Dakota and the United States, indicates about 30-40 places remain without power.

The power went out around 7:00 a.m. Much of it was restored within 45 minutes.

Meanwhile, power is out for about 36 customers in Watford City, according to MDU’s outage map .
