Big 12 Conference Power Rankings Ahead of 2024
5-4, PAC-12 Key returners: Quarterback Cameron Rising, Tight End Brant Kuithe. The Utah Utes are the best addition to a league losing both the Sooners and the Longhorns. They are highly competitive, recruit game changing talent, and have a home field advantage that will be the best in the Big 12. The return of quarterback Cameron Rising gives a big lift to the Utes. Rising sustained a left knee injury in their Rose Bowl loss to Penn State, missing all of 2023. His 2022 season was an indicator of what could be this season, starting in 13 games and throwing for 3,034 yards and 26 touchdowns, while rushing for another six touchdowns.
