A Flippin High School student was recently awarded first place in the 2024 Arkansas Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest held by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.The artwork of 14-year-old Emma Cook, a ninth grader at Flippin High School, will represent Arkansas in the contest during the 125th VFW National Convention held in Louisville, Ky.
