Waunakee officials urge residents to keep garage sale signs on private property

With garage sale days set for next week, Waunakee village staff are reminding residents that that signs of any kind cannot be placed on public land or right-of-way areas, including the terrace.

Residents can ask permission from private property owners to put signs on their property, behind the sidewalk. If there is no sidewalk, signs can be placed 10 feet from the back of the curb with permission from the property owner.
