    JUNE 8: BREAKFAST ON THE FARMThe Dane County Breakfast on the Farm will be from 7 — 11:30 a.m. at Blue Star Dairy Farms, 7502 Patton Road in DeForest.

    JUNE 10-11: SUSTAINABLE STUDIOCreate your own barn quilt square perfect to display indoors, on your porch, or above your garage! You must attend both sessions. Waunakee Public Library, Monday & Tuesday, June 10 & 11, 6 p.m. Please register on our website.

    JUNE 11: PETTING FARM Celebrate the end of school and another summer of reading at Waunakee Public Library, with Havens Petting Farm! Kids (and grown-ups) will have the opportunity to say hello to: bunnies, chicks, lambs, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, an alpaca, a llama, and more. This is a drop-in program and the animals will available throughout the entire two-hour period on June 11, from 1:30 — 3:30 p.m.

    JUNE 13: SNAKE DISCOVERY

    Slither into the world of reptiles at Waunakee Public Library Thursday, June 13, 6:00 p.m. by meeting several species that call Wisconsin home! From diet to habitat and behavior, with plenty of fun facts in-between, attendees will learn what makes our cold-blooded friends so unique in this engaging program. Ages 4+.

    JUNE 13: AUTHOR TALK

    Psychological Thrillers and the Queen of Twists: Take a seat as we pick the brain of the queen of twists herself, Freida McFadden! She will join us via Zoom to chat about writing psychological thrillers, her mega-bestselling hit The Housemaid series, in particular her forthcoming (June 2024) third installment, The Housemaid Is Watching.     JUNE 14-15: ST. JOHN’S FEST

    Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church will host the annual festival June 14-15, with music by the Tim Daniels Band on Friday and Madison County on Saturday. Food tent opens at 4 p.m. and a chicken dinner will be served Saturday. For a full schedule, visit https://www.stjbfest.com/
