    From Thursday, June 20: On Wednesday, June 19, 36 people were at the Lake Ripley Country Club for dinner and Euchre. The winners had a tie for 1st Place - Karen Rozinski and Ken Dorn, 2nd. Dave Wilkinson, 3rd. Linda Teske and 4th. Jim Teske. Dave Wilkinson had the most loners with six. The next Euchre night will be July 24th. Sign up will be in the pro shop.

    From Wednesday, June 19: The Lake Ripley Country Club Women’s Organization 18-hole played a secret partners competition on Tuesday, June 20. Once partners were revealed, the first-place team consisted of Wendy Lehr and Lisa Nelson. In second was Sue Repyak and Rita King with third place going to April Mickelson and Carol Zimbric. Lisa Nelson had a birdie by chipping in on hole No. 1.

    The 9-hole group played the back nine today. Connie Bergsven won first place low net in Flight 1. She and Char Cederberg tied for low putts. First place low net in Flight 2 was Virginia Newcomb with low putts going to Sharon Lund. In Flight 3, Jane Spindler had both low net and low putts. There were no birdies or sunken approaches to report.

    Sarah Baird took first place honors in bridge this week. Following her was 2. Deb Hegstrom, 3. Wendy Lehr and 4. Ann Lucas and Kathy Tranchita.

    Euchre played this week and Cindy Hartman won first place. In second, a tie between Jacki Slinde and Pat New with Marilyn Lueder in fourth.

    From Monday, June 17: The first Ladies Night Out event was held on Tuesday Night, June 11, 2024 at Lake Ripley Country Club. Members signed up in groups of 4 and were combined with another foursome to play a scramble. Each player had a colored ball and two players from each foursome played alternate shots for 6 holes. Wine tasting and snacks were included on each hole.

    Golf pro Jon Zellmer added a new event this year, putting for a bottle of wine on hole No. 8. The first place team was Tammy Kautzer, Sherry Kelter, Judy Kocher, Mary Maynard, Jacqueline Weber, Julie West, Kristina Purdy and Kathy Mauer.
