Waunakee builder named winner of Badger Craftsman Award

Michael F. Simon Builders of Waunakee has been named a winner of three Badger Craftsman Awards.

The Wisconsin Builders Association has announced winners in 14 categories, including best new single-family homes, best single-family development, and best remodeling projects. In its third year, the Badger Craftsman Award program is facilitated by the group.

Members of the association across Wisconsin are invited to submit their projects in a wide range of categories which are then voted on by members and the public. Over 4,400 votes were cast during the one-month voting period.

Waunakee’s longest established business, Michael F. Simon Builders, has been awarded first place in three of the categories (Best Bathroom, Best Finished Basement/Bonus Room, and Best Remodel - Room Addition).

“These awards showcase the innovation, design, craftsmanship and cutting-edge technologies in the homebuilding industry,” said WBA Director of Communications, Alicia Naleid. “We are proud of our members and their commitment to providing safe and accessible housing across Wisconsin.”
