91-year-old Waupun man found dead after Dodge County deputies locate car in ditch

DODGE COUNTY – The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is looking for witnesses to a crash June 27 on U.S. 151.

The department received a report around 2 p.m. of a car in the ditch south of State 49 in the township of Chester. First responders found the driver and lone occupant, a 91-year-old Waupun man, dead in the car.

As the department investigates the crash and death, anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the car in the ditch and did not report it is asked to contact Lt. Brian Loos at bloos@co.dodge.wi.us or 920-386-4117.

Waupun Police Department, Waupun Fire Department, Lifestar EMS, the Dodge County Medical Examiner and a sheriff’s chaplain assisted at the scene.
