Live updates: Central Wisconsin high school football scores for Week 7

Pressure is brewing in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.

For most teams, only three games are left, which means that only so much opportunity remains to reach playoff requirements for teams on the outside looking in.

D.C. Everest clinched their fourth conference win last week, knocking off Eau Claire North at home. This week, they’ll face a high-flying Chippewa Falls team.

Stevens Point Area Senior High, the 2023 conference leaders, still trails the Evergreens in second place. This week, the Panthers, holding a 3-0 conference record, will try to take a page from the Evergreens book and get one step closer to punching their ticket at the Huskies' expense.

There is plenty more to keep your eye on around the area as Wisconsin Rapids faces Eau Claire Memorial and Wausau West takes on Marshfield at Thom Field.
